Fantastika 2018 is an SF convention that will take place in Dieselverkstaden in Sickla near the center of Stockholm on June 15-17. The venue has been used for SF conventions in 2013 and 2016, and our goal is about the same type of convention. Fantastika 2018 was voted to be the national sf convention, Swecon 2018, at Kontur 2017 i Uppsala.

Membership
The membership fee is SEK 350 or corresponding in EURO (35 EUR), GBP or USD when pre-registering no later than June 1, 2018. After that time and at the convention the price is SEK 500 for adults and SEK 400 for those who are less than 26 years of age at the start of the convention. Prices for one-day membership are: Friday SEK 150, Saturday SEK 300, Sunday 150.
Youth membership: If you have not yet turned 26 when the convention starts, your membership is free, provided that you register in advance (on June 1, 2018, at the latest).
Children: Members below 12 years of age do not have to pay a membership fee.

Dealers
Authors and other dealers who want to sell books at Fantastika 2018 should contact Elin Holmerin (elin.holmerin at gmail.com). She will organise a common book shop with one paydesk. Only members may participate but there is no other charge.
In the same room there will be a scene where there will be author interviews and readings.
Authors
There is now a list of attending authors, with links to more information. If you are an author and a member who would like to be in the list you should contact Tomas Cronholm. Please indicate what link we should add.
Gophers wanted!
We need people who are willing to help with a lot of practical things like assisting speakers, sitting in the reception etc. This is a perfect way to meet fans and authors and understand how the convention works. If you are interested, please contact Helena Kiel at zaphodkiel@yahoo.com.
Visit the mine under the venue!
There will be a guided tour under the building on Sunday June 17 at 11.00. You have to be older than 13 years old. The cost is 100 sek, that can be paid in advance in the same way as the membership fee, or in cash at the registration on June 15. Code of Conduct
An sf convention is meant to be enjoyable and safe for the members.
Discussions and conversations where opinions differ are a part of the convention but it is assumed that all members behave in a friendly way and with respect for each other. Please use microphones when available.
Violence, threats, harassments and aggressive or inconsiderate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
The convention committee decides if a conduct is acceptable or not. If the conduct is deemed to be unacceptable, the committee may take measures ranging from a reprimand to expulsion from the convention without refund of the membership fee.
Please contact a member of the committee if you or someone else is subjected to unacceptable behaviour or if there is anything else that the committee should be aware of or should correct.
